Writing
Need a writer who works at lightning speed? Jack delivers that killer one-liner before you can say Llanfairpwllgwyngyll...(Well, maybe not that fast, but fast enough.)
Jack writes across radio, theatre, TV, film, and corporate—turning even the dullest health and safety brief into something both effective and funny.
"I knew The Mummy was funny, but seeing it on its feet was a revelation. The Arts Theatre rocked with laughter. Now, with The Booking Office on board, we’re excited for full production." — Director, Joe Harmston
His co-written (with Mark Stevenson) farce, Octopus Soup starring Nick Hancock, recently completed a number 1 tour of the Uk and is currently playing in Prague https://www.divadlokalich.cz/komorni-kalich/repertoar/coz-takhle-dat-si-chobotnici/. His comedy horror The Mummy ran at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, and later played in several theatres in Finland (Muumio), while also running for several months in Argentina (La Momia). One Man, Two Llamas had a rehearsed reading at Theatr Clwyd in 2017 (dir. Mark Bell).
Octopus Soup now looks to return to the stage with a West End run next year! Director is one of the world's top comedy directors, the wonderful (and not just cos he loves our script) John Nicholson https://peepolykus.com
Founder of the London Comedy Writers’ Group, Jack has shaped some of Britain’s top new comedy talents. His writing credits span TV and radio sketches, plus plays at the Finborough, The Arts Theatre, Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Festival, and Old Red Lion. He’s also sold sitcoms to Radio 4.
As a speaker and facilitator, Jack works globally with Google, Microsoft, Virgin Media, and Cisco—bringing comedy skills into business to make the technical engaging, fun, and, most importantly, not boring.
More randomly: He was likely the first Westerner to visit the Soviet secret city of Severodvinsk (and return with photos of nuclear subs), created a live comedy show on GMTV (heckled by Nick Owen and Joe Brown), and once headlined as an animal impressionist at a Keralan rock concert.
